Jon Mason brings more than 20 years of experience and industry relationships to his work in the entertainment business, spanning talent representation, packaging, and film development. In 2005, he joined the Buchwald Agency, where he rose through the ranks to become a Theatrical Agent.

Over the course of 17 years at Buchwald, Jon represented actors at every stage of their careers—from emerging talent gaining traction to established performers seeking to expand their reach and take on new creative challenges. He worked closely with casting directors, producers, and filmmakers across film, television, and theater on both coasts, developing a deep understanding of the creative and business considerations that shape long-term, sustainable careers.

In 2022, Jon founded JMason Entertainment to broaden and deepen the services he provides his clients. In addition to representation, Jon is actively producing film projects, allowing him to work on both sides of the creative process. As a producer, he is involved in development and packaging, collaborating with writers, directors, and talent, and bringing a talent‑forward perspective informed by years of experience working with actors and casting.

Jon’s approach to both representation and producing is grounded in partnership. Providing the highest level of service means more than helping clients select projects—it requires understanding their values, ambitions, and long‑term goals, and working consistently to help build careers that are both artistically fulfilling and sustainable. He works closely with other members of his clients’ professional teams and values professionalism, clarity, and genuine collaboration.

And now a new chapter begins with Mason-Lewis Entertainment, a partnership with David Lewis who he worked with at Buchwald for 17 years.
